Jon Hensley has 22 years of architectural work experience
in a wide variety of project types. He formed Jon Hensley Architects in 1997 and his primary role in the firm is to coordinate the design process and supervise the production of construction documents. Jon also provides on-site review of construction projects. He is a 1983 graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Architecture and is a member of the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia Chapters of the American Institute of Architects. He is a registered architect in the District of Columbia, Virginia,
and Maryland.

Sunny Evangelista Carroll has 18 years of architectural experience. Sunny joined Jon Hensley Architects in
1998 and brought her experience working on complex medium scale to large scale projects with local firms, Shalom Baranes Associates and DBI Architects in Washington, DC and the Connecticut firm, Cesar Pelli & Associates. At Jon Hensley Architects, Sunny’s roles focus on programming, design, design development, and project administration. She also has experience with the review processes involved with historic structures. As a 1987 graduate of Syracuse University, Sunny is a member of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
